"The well-being of the community is embedded in our corporate values and looking after ourselves, as well as our families and the people around us, is the most important thing that we can do to ensure a happy, social, and healthy life,” says Borouge’s Production Company CEO Abdulaziz Alhajri. “Our Health and Social Day complements our existing Health, Safety and Environment policies and practices, and puts a renewed focus on the health of individuals and their families.”
Plastics represent about 50% of all material used in healthcare, and are becoming a preferred material for medical devices and pharmaceutical and diagnostic packaging such as disposable syringes, inhalers, filters for artificial kidneys, blister packs for tablets, pen injectors and catheters.
Examples of these innovative plastics solutions were on display at the event.
