Borouge, a leading provider of innovative, value creating plastics solutions, held a meeting at the Abu Dhabi Executive Council where it demonstrated the plastics solutions that are effectively used in various projects carried out through the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

 

During the meeting that was held at the premises of the Council’s General Secretariat, H.E. Mohammed Ahmed Al Bowardi, Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, received Rashed Saud Al Shamsi, Chairman of Borouge’s Marketing Company, Abdulaziz Alhajri, CEO of Borouge’s Production Company, Hussain Sultan Lootah, Borouge Senior Vice President Middle East, and Khalfan Al Muhairi, Application Marketing Manager Pipe Business Unit in Borouge.

H.E. Al Bowardi and Members of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council inspected samples of the innovative plastics solutions that Borouge provides for the infrastructure (pipe systems, and power and communication cables), automotive and advanced packaging markets. The high-ranking attendees were provided with key information and details about Borouge’s products, activities and projects.

Borouge recently expanded its plant in Abu Dhabi to 2 million tonnes of polyethylene and polypropylene per year, enabling the company to contribute to the major infrastructure projects in the UAE and to play an increasing role in the diversification of the economy.
