Borouge, a leading provider of innovative, value creating plastics solutions, participated in MEOS 2011 (the 7th Middle East Oil & Gas Show and Conference) held in the Kingdom of Bahrain on September 25-28, 2011. Under the umbrella of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and its Group of Companies. Borouge demonstrated its plastics solutions for the infrastructure, mainly oil and gas pipe systems.

The MEOS 2011 Show and Conference was officially opened by His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The event, which was organized by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (ESP) under the theme ‘Shaping the Future of the Industry: Innovating Beyond Limits’, was attended a number of the world’s leading oil and gas suppliers and operators, senior representatives from ADNOC’s Group of Companies, as well as H.E. Abdul Aziz bin Hadef Al Shamsi, the UAE Ambassador to Kingdom of Bahrain.

 

Bahraini Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa toured the MEOS 2011 exhibition and visited the ADNOC Group stand where he was introduced to the innovative solutions produced by Borouge for the infrastructure applications including the oil and gas distribution pipe systems. Borouge representatives briefed the visitors about the leading role the Company is playing in developing the petrochemicals industry in the UAE. Borouge’s customers in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia have also visited the Company’s products display at the MEOS 2011 exhibition and were introduced to Borouge’s latest innovative plastics solutions for the infrastructure (pipe systems, and power and communication cables), automotive and advanced packaging markets.
