Borouge, a leading provider of innovative, value creating plastics solutions, has completed preparations to participate as a Platinum Sponsor at Plastivision Arabia 2012 Conference and Exhibition with a spacious stand that will display a wide range of the Company’s solutions, mainly for film, fibre and moulding applications. The event, which will take place at Expo Centre Sharjah from May 14-17, 2012, is expected to attract regional downstream petrochemicals companies and key players in the plastics raw material production, primary processing companies and auxiliary equipment suppliers and traders.
Plastivision Arabia provides a platform for regional and international plastics producers, convertors, buyers and end-users to share technological know-how and provide the latest developments and trends in the field of plastics and moulding. The event gives an opportunity for Borouge to meet its regional and potential customers where they will be introduced to new products and secure deals. The conference and exhibition also give a chance to explore new promising markets and reinforce Borouge’s position as a leading provider of innovative plastics solutions.
Borouge’s stand at the exhibition will include a display of the Company’s innovative solutions that are used in different film, fibre and moulding applications. Borouge utilizes proprietary technologies such as Borstar® and Borealis Nucleation Technology (BNT) to deliver products to applications that benefit from the high performance polyethylene and polypropylene polymers in plastic film, fibre and moulded products. Later this year, Borouge will operate its newly-constructed Innovation Centre that will work together with the European innovation centres of Borealis and other local and international educational institutions to further develop the competence of polymer science in the UAE.
