Borouge, a leading provider of innovative, value creating plastics solutions for the global wire and cable business, highlighted its commitment to the industry through participating as a gold sponsor at the 8th Annual Arabcab Conference held in Marrakesh, Morocco, from September 23-25, 2012.
Borouge’s delegation to the Arabcab conference included Hussain Sultan Lootah Senior Vice President Middle East Africa, Hazeem Al Suwaidi Vice President Sales Middle East Africa, and other senior marketing and sales officials who all joined fruitful meetings, presentations and discussions.

In his speech, Al Suwaidi highlighted the importance and benefits of the technologies used by Borouge and Borealis to support the wire and cable industry. Al Suwaidi briefed the audience at the conference about Borouge’s expansion projects in Abu Dhabi, particularly the new 350,000 tonnes per year low density polyethylene (LDPE) plant that will provide solutions for high value wire and cable applications by mid-2014.
Borouge has become a member of the Arabcab Association which includes all the companies that manufacture communication and power cables in the Arab World since 2004.
