Borouge to showcase latest polyolefin products at the 5th edition of the biennial international trade show
Borouge has announced its participation in Saudi Plas 2003, to be held from 16 - 20 March 2003 at the Riyadh Exhibition Centre in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This marks the second time that Borouge is taking part in the plastics sector exhibition.
In Saudi Arabia itself, plastics is the fastest developing industry after oil and gas on the back of strong demand in the packaging requirements of the food and consumer goods sectors, the building sector, and the export market. Already in wide use around the world, plastics is increasingly adopted as a substitute for traditional materials such as metal and wood.
Saudi Plas will take place concurrently with Saudi Print, Saudi Pack and Saudi Chem to leverage on the number of professionals and trade buyers present to generate business development opportunities for exhibitors.
Borouge will showcase its Borstar® bimodal polyethylene products produced at its US$1.2 billion petrochemical complex in Ruwais, in the United Arab Emirates. Products include a wide range of bimodal linear low-density (LLD), medium-density (MD) and high-density (HD) polyethylene grades for use in the flexible- and rigid-packaging industries as well as pipe industries.
Also represented will be Borealis' entire range of high-quality polyolefin products and grades. Polyethylene and polypropylene from Borealis are environmentally superior plastics, which are manufactured into thousands of everyday applications.
To better serve its customers in the region, Borouge is opening a new office in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Over the five-day event, Borouge's top management and its Middle East sales team will be on hand to meet customers and partners, and to share industrial expertise.
Borouge's stand is along the main aisle in Hall 1, number 401. More information on Saudi Plas can be found at http://www.recexpo.com/html/plas.html.
