Providing an interactive business networking platform for the world’s leading manufacturers and convertors of plastics and rubber in Düsseldorf, Germany, the K 2013 fair concluded its eight-day activities with Borouge significantly having succeeded enhancing its position as one of the world’s leading providers of innovative polyolefins solutions to a wide range of industrial sectors.
In addition to networking with the global leaders in the plastics industry at K 2013 fair, Borouge has successfully generated business leads and interacted with its major customers through holding meeting with them and discussing new approaches to better meet their industry requirements. Borouge has also introduced its customers and the visitors of the Company’s joint stand with Borealis and NOVA Chemicals, the latest innovative polyethylene and polypropylene products that Borouge is producing to meet the most stringent requirements of the customers.
Borouge’s demonstration of its new polyolefins grades and unique technologies have raised interest among the Company’s customers who came specifically to K 2013 fair to learn on the spot about Borouge’s new solutions. Borouge’s demonstration of its exciting expansion projects has attracted more attention and helped in reinforcing its position in the plastics industry. The expansion projects of Borouge will contribute to increasing its production capacity of polyethylene and polypropylene solutions for infrastructure, automotive and advanced packaging markets from the current 2 million to 4.5 million tonnes per year in 2014.
The senior management representatives of Borouge, Borealis and NOVA Chemicals toured the K 2013 pavilions and were briefed about the products on display of the participating companies including more than 40 machine suppliers who were demonstrating the process of plastics materials with Borouge’s Borstar® based materials.
