Borouge, a leading provider of innovative, value creating plastics solutions, signed a contract with Tianjin Tianbao International Logistics Group Co. Ltd. to run the logistics operations at Borouge’s new warehouse in Tianjin, China.
Tianbao will be the Logistic Service Provider (LSP) at Borouge’s Tianjin warehouse which was opened recently to better serve the Company’s customers in North China and cater for the expected increasing volumes of products coming from the new Borouge 3 plants.
The three-year contract was signed by Abdulaziz Alhajri, CEO of Abu Dhabi Polymers Company (Borouge), and Xing Guoyou, General Manager of Tianjin Tianbao Holding Company, during a ceremony held at Borouge’s headquarters at the Sheikh Khalifa Energy Complex in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
“Tianbao enjoys a strong professional background and rich experience in warehouse operations in Tianjin, and we believe that Tianbao will provide the best professional logistics solutions to support Borouge’s growth in China,” said Abdulaziz Alhajri, CEO of Abu Dhabi Polymers Company (Borouge). “Our strategy is to provide high level services and be close to our target customers and Tianjin is the key location for our Asia North customers.”
Prior to signing the contract between the two companies, Tianbao helped Borouge getting customs exceptional approval on Consolidate Customs Clearance which is a significant benefit on domestic sales. Through this contract with Tianbao, Borouge is keen to maintain the operations at Tianjin for the future to ensure an effective and efficient operational support the Company’s sales growth.
Tianjin Tianbao International Logistics Group Co., Ltd is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone Administrative Committee. It was established in 1993 with RMB 74 million registered capital, RMB 1.3 billion total assets and 200 full-time employees.
