Combined with enhanced properties in slow crack growth (SCG) resistance and rapid crack propagation (RCP) resistance, PE100 is the material of choice for the most demanding piping applications including trench-less installation for pipeline rehabilitations.
Borouge produces our enhanced Borsafe™ HE3490-LS PE100 using the Borstar bimodal process, with enhanced SCG and RCP, as well as having the low sagging feature making it the best material for manufacturing large diameter thick walled pipe. This material has been used to produce pipe up to 2000 mm in diameter with a 120 mm wall thickness.
Fully documented at external laboratories, Borsafe™ HE3490-LS is not just for conventional gas and drinking water piping systems, but also suitable foe elevated temperature applications for industrial piping.
