Recruitment Process

    Recruitment Process

    All job applications and CV submissions shall be received through Borouge careers portal or through LinkedIn. If you cannot see a current opening that suits your experience and​ skills, you can register your profile with us to be notified of suitable vacancies as they are posted.

    Initial Application Review

    Once your application is received, our sourcing team will review your profile and assess your experience/skills in line with the job requirements. You may also be contacted for a telephone interview to gain a better insight of your qualifications, experience and career aspiration.

    Phone Interview & Assessment

    If your application is shortlisted, you will be invited for an interview (either virtual or physical). Depending on the role, you may be required to undergo technical and/or psychometric tests before or after the interview.

    Offer Stage

    If you have been successfully selected – CONGRATULATIONS! You will be contacted by a representative from our Talent Acquisition Team and an offer will be extended. You will be also required to undergo a preliminary medical check (applicable to candidates outside the UAE), provide your education certificate attestation and translation to English/Arabic, and do the pre-employment medical check for visa application, government clearance, reference check, etc.​

    Onboarding

    Once the offer is accepted and you have successfully completed all mandatory clearances, our On-Boarding team will be on hand to provide information and answer any questions you may have in order to ensure your first day as part of Borouge family goes smoothly.  WELCOME ONBOARD!

Opportunities for UAE Nationals​

For over 20 years, Borouge has always focused on employing and developing of Emiratis and is very proud of its track record, with over 1,000 Emiratis currently employed.

We have a dedicated Talent Acquisition team, and a Talent Management and Youth Development team who are looking after the employment and development of Emiratis as well as a well-established and state-of-the-art Technical Training Centre (TTC) in Al Ruways where the company puts high priority on recruiting talented Emiratis and developing them through the organisation.

With its global presence and partnerships, the Emiratis employed at Borouge are provided with the opportunity for international exposures and abroad training, giving them more advantage than most of the oil and gas companies across the United Arab Emirates.

Selection FAQs

  • Despite the large volumes of applicants across platforms, we do review all applications that meet the minimum criteria on both careers’ website and on LinkedIn.  However, we are unable to provide a personalised response to every application.
  • We are a performance driven organization with employee base of over 3,100 people who took part in the development of our values.  Our values are:progressive, collaborative, respectful, responsible and efficient.
  • These values form the basis of what we expect from our employees and from this, we developed the core competencies which all candidates are measured against, along with the specific technical skills and demonstrable experience in their field.
  • Sometimes the identity of ADNOC or one of its subsidiaries is used fraudulently in fake recruitment campaigns and false job offers.  We advise you to read more about fake recruitment campaigns and job scams, and what to do if someone asks for money upfront, or an offer seems too good to be true.
  • Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to provide specific feedback at the early stages of the process.   • Depending on whether this is your first or second interview, the panel may include a member of the senior leadership, in addition to the talent acquisition representative, and the hiring manager.
  • Review the job description in details, as well as the Borouge website to understand more about the nature of our business, our vision, mission and values.  Consider why you want to work for Borouge, what interests you about the role, and how your profile matches the requirements and culture of the company.
  • Prepare some questions that you want to ask the panel during your interview.  This is an opportunity for you to further explore if the company and role are a good fit for you.
  • This will depend on a number of factors and will be different for each role.  Your talent acquisition representative should advise you of the expected timeframe for feedback during the course of your interview.
